Currently co-teach two courses:

5611 Soil Biology and Fertility

3612 Soil and Environmental Biology.

Each is available on line for long-distance education

I have also been involved in the teaching of Soil Biology, and especially Nitrogen Fixation in training courses in Mexico, Venezuela, Colombia and Uruguay. The website www.Rhizobium.umn.edu has a strong outreach component, with frequent e-mail questions from different parts of the world

I currently advise or co-advise four graduate students, three of whom are from Latin America.
