Welcome to Bill Zanner's UMN web site!

  		• Areas of interest: Soil genesis and geomorphology. Wetland and forested ecosystems. natural and human-influenced landscape evolution. Quaternary geology, paleoclimate reconstruction. Eolian processes. Mineralogy of soils and sediments.

  		• A Graduate Assistantship is available for a MS or PhD student interested in working in Minnesota's forested areas. Opportunities for collaboration with research groups in Ecology, Geology, and Forest Resources.
